Townsend Elementary offers an exciting learning environment for students in grades 1-5.
Our focus is on the mastery of basic academic and thinking skills,
hands-on learning, enrichment activities and remedial assistance
(wherever needed). Technology education is embedded into all that we
do, as is a commitment to foster positive behavioral skills and provide
educational experiences that will help our students to become
confident, successful learners. In addition to its classroom teachers, Townsend has a
principal; art, music and physical education teachers; librarian;
